Terms of Service (ScootGo App)
Welcome to ScootGo. These Terms of Service explain the basic rules for using the ScootGo customer app and public website. By using ScootGo, you agree to these terms.
Service Scope
ScootGo is a marketplace platform that allows users in the United Arab Emirates to discover nearby local shops, browse products, place orders, and receive support. ScootGo connects customers with participating shops, but product availability, pricing, preparation, delivery, and order acceptance may depend on the relevant shop and service area.
User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate account, mobile number, location, and delivery information when using order or delivery features.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email/mobile and password login.
- The service must not be used for fraudulent activity, abuse, unauthorized access, interference with the service, or any unlawful purpose.
Orders and Availability
ScootGo facilitates orders between customers and participating local shops. Shops may accept, reject, prepare, update, or manage orders based on availability, delivery coverage, operating hours, stock, and other practical factors. Product listings, prices, shop availability, delivery areas, and order options may change over time.
When you place an order, relevant customer, delivery, and order details may be shared with the participating shop so the shop can review, prepare, fulfill, deliver, coordinate, or manage the order.
Location and Maps
ScootGo may use location information, saved addresses, selected areas, and third-party map services to show nearby shops, products, delivery availability, and service coverage. You can control device location permissions through your device settings, but some features may be limited if location or delivery information is not provided.
Account Security
Access is provided via email/password or mobile/password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Third-Party Services
ScootGo may rely on third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, infrastructure, maps, location services, diagnostics, security, and other technical functions needed to operate the service. Use of ScootGo is also subject to those services operating properly.
Privacy and Account Deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. If you want to request account deletion, please use our Delete Account page or contact support. Some information may be retained where needed for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or operational reasons.
Changes to the Service
ScootGo is an evolving service. We may update, change, suspend, or remove features, shops, listings, delivery areas, or app functionality from time to time.
